

The games use a codewheel to check solutions, with no app or website solving a puzzle gives you permission to open an envelope with more story and items. ThinkFun’s two Escape The Room games were the first home escape games to hit the market, though after a long wait there’s now news of a third game in the series.

Each brand has its own style and enthusiasts argue over which is best but most of them (by which I mean Exit, Unlock!, Escape Room In A Box, ThinkFun, Deckscape) are all good quality products and it’s worth sampling a few to see which you enjoy most.
