I checked all the handgrip options in GECK but none of them seem to be adequate for the gun length. (also a quick google search showcasing proper shotgun stance as seen here) I know what you mean, but from what I have read and seen (like here), you are definitely supposed to put your left hand on the shotgun by the pump forend. and change the Handgrip option to something that is a little further down the stock. Idk, but regardless, if you want to change it it should be easy enough to go into the G.E.C.K. I'm no expert either, but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to hold a pump action shotgun with the pump, as doing so will cause the recoil of the weapon to re-chamber it, which can be dangerous.
